Role and Responsibilities

Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are seeking applications for the position of Project Manager in Mayo. Our client is a Successful Civils Contractor in business for a substantial period and expanding their team in line with a growing sector.

What is required

Your Responsibilities

  • Liaise directly with Design Team for delivering projects up to € 10 million
  • Reviewing and assembling technical submittals and RFI’s
  • Manage project staff to ensure compliance with Construction Regulations, Building Control, and Contractual Requirements
  • Assemble progress reports and chair both site and M+E services coordination meetings
  • Development of MS Project contract programmes and ability to rationalise same
  • Ability to successfully deliver projects from both a timescale and commercial perspective
  • Manage implementation of Health and Safety requirements whilst adhering to and developing MVS Constructions SAFE T policy
  • Manage implementation of BCaR inspection plans and project safety files

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

What you need to have

  • A Degree qualification in Civil Engineering / Project Management or other construction related discipline
  • Thorough knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, MS Project and AutoCad
  • Good technical knowledge of Government and RIAI Forms of Contract
  • Ability to analyse and interpret contract Documentation
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to assemble and rationalise project programmes
