Rathowen Construction (Ireland) Ltd are a Dublin based construction company and have a proved record of delivering building projects on time and within budget with a key emphasis always on quality of build, safety and most importantly client satisfaction. The relationship and service we provide to our clients makes us a well trusted, high quality and experienced construction firm. At present we are working on projects which include residential housing and apartments totaling over 250 units not including upcoming projects.

Role and Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all aspects of Health & Safety on site, ensuring compliance with Company Safety Management system
  • Management of Quality on site, ensuring compliance with company and project requirements
  • Management site staff, direct resources and all subcontractors
  • Management of plant and materials
  • Ensuring works are completed in accordance with the project programme; updating and tracking programme as works progress
  • Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations
  • Ensuring any temporary works have the necessary design and are installed in accordance with the design
  • Preparation and implementation of health and safety documentation and proceduress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 7 years’ experience in similar or related field
  • Previous experience on civil engineering projects
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Be highly organised & motivated with good attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness, understanding and ability to meet targets
  • Technical ability and knowledge
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Project
