Role and Responsibilities
The role
We are seeking an experienced, professional Finishing Foreman to manage the day to day finishing of one of our Dublin based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification and programme
- Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
- Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
- Managing health and safety delivery on site
- Attending weekly management team meeting
- Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
- Compiling labour allocation sheets for Bennett direct and hired labour
- Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
- Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
- Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
- Dealing with all health and safety issues on site
- Providing clear leadership and direction, to those under your control, while maintaining a professional manner is essential
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience, preferably within large sites
- Experience in at least one of our key areas – commercial, residential, data centres and hospitality
- Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification
- Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
- PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
