Contracts Manager

Company Overview

Lymar Contracts is a dynamic Construction company based in the Clare/Limerick region and are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to assist in various new projects. The company specialise in new build, fit-outs, facilities, civils & demolition.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in Tendering Submission
  • Ensuring each project is properly planned and programmed
  • Preparation of contract budget, monitoring of performance & acting when necessary to improve
  • Implementation of all company Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Procedures ensuring statutory compliance across all projects
  • Develop contract programme with Site Manager, ensuring necessary resources are in place for the competition of the work
  • Ensuring all relevant project information is collated, reviewed & actioned at contract review meetings
  • Preparation of Sub-contractor & supplier packages, appointment of same and payment authorisation
  • Preparation of progress claims & final accounts
  • Coordination & Management of all BCAR, BCMS & O&M requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Degree Qualified
  • 4-5years industry experience
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Heath & Safety legislation
  • Knowledge of Building regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD/Revit
  • Ability to prepare and understand financial reports

Salary: Negotiable on experience
